Double Header

What an amazing weekend we have had. We started it out celebrating our anniversary. Amazing how quickly six years go by. We had a great time. Still love this man.
Luke was a little excited to see us when we got home from our date. I will take all the love and attention I can get this weekend. Loving it!

Saturday we drove to Jackson Hole, WY to celebrate my birthday. Austin was in charge of the map. His verdit was "Straight ahead Taddy." :)
We drove out to Mormon Row to take some family pictures. Tad loved the nature scenes more than the family. Kids are much too difficult to work with.
There are signs every where that say "do not approach the wildlife." Tad felt that he was an exception to the rule. The kids loved seeing all of the Buffulo.
This was at my Aunt Cherie's house. The boys loved all of the Humming birds. Pretty cute.
Oh la la. When Tad and I were married the photographer got kind of frustrated that we couldn't take a kissing picture that looked good. We have had a few years of practice, but we are getting better.

In Jackson they have a shoot out at night in the middle of the street. It is pretty cool. Austin was entranced. He said, "It was pretty good, but it was loud."

Finally in the mix of things I have made two cakes in the last week. Now this picture is from a phone camera and this cake had traveled 350 miles. Jocie and I wanted to try making a whimsical cake. It was pretty fun to make. I would try it again.
I made this train skittle cake for a little boy in our ward that has the same birthday as me. His mom won the cake in a service auction. It was pretty fun to make. I know what a disease I have, but I love to create cakes. It is my lousy form of art.

Fish, Ducks, and Ball!

Fishing was the activity of choice for Memorial Day. It was stupendous minus no fish were caught. Tad was a great sport to take Austin although he doesn't really enjoy fishing. Austin was so ecstatic. He has dreamed of fishing for a while. He has been casting his little pretend fish on the fishing pole in my house.

Luke found better entertainment....DUCKS! He fed them, chased them, yelled Duck, and chased them some more.

We invited our cousins the Clarks to come for the events. We love love love to spend time with their fun family. We are so grateful we live so close to them and just to have family close by.
I'm trying to contain myself, but I'm such an excited mom to have Austin playing T-Ball. Notice the hat backwards. That was not of my doing, but purely Austin. I think he has been around his uncles a bit much.

Isn't he like the cutest thing you have ever seen? He was the only one on his team to field the ball and throw it to first. He actually looked like he got a little teeny bit of an idea of what was going on out their. Yahoo!
Here is Sammy Luke very entertained with his snow cone. Brilliant idea to entertain!
