What an amazing weekend we have had. We started it out celebrating our anniversary. Amazing how quickly six years go by. We had a great time. Still love this man.
Luke was a little excited to see us when we got home from our date. I will take all the love and attention I can get this weekend. Loving it!
Saturday we drove to Jackson Hole, WY to celebrate my birthday. Austin was in charge of the map. His verdit was "Straight ahead Taddy." :)
We drove out to Mormon Row to take some family pictures. Tad loved the nature scenes more than the family. Kids are much too difficult to work with.
There are signs every where that say "do not approach the wildlife." Tad felt that he was an exception to the rule. The kids loved seeing all of the Buffulo.
This was at my Aunt Cherie's house. The boys loved all of the Humming birds. Pretty cute.
Oh la la. When Tad and I were married the photographer got kind of frustrated that we couldn't take a kissing picture that looked good. We have had a few years of practice, but we are getting better.
In Jackson they have a shoot out at night in the middle of the street. It is pretty cool. Austin was entranced. He said, "It was pretty good, but it was loud."
Finally in the mix of things I have made two cakes in the last week. Now this picture is from a phone camera and this cake had traveled 350 miles. Jocie and I wanted to try making a whimsical cake. It was pretty fun to make. I would try it again.

I made this train skittle cake for a little boy in our ward that has the same birthday as me. His mom won the cake in a service auction. It was pretty fun to make. I know what a disease I have, but I love to create cakes. It is my lousy form of art.

I want that train skittle cake! It is adorable-as is everything you put your hands on! Including your kids & your marriage. And, loving your hair-you look beautiful. Hope you had a great birthday and that you got my e-mail! Love you and am grateful you were born & that you married Taddio!
Cool cakes, was the topsy turvey cake hard? It sure looks like it, when did you make it? Jackson looks so beautiful, as are the pictures of you boys. Way to go Tad for using your camera skills. Happy you had a great birthday... you old woman you! Make sure to try out that cricut cake machine, it may be on my list too. Love ya.
ps finally updated my blog.
It looks like you had an eventful birthday and anniversary! Good for you! And the kissing picture made me laugh out loud because I remember when you were a teenager and would see Alan and I kissing and you would always flip out and run around closing your eyes and saying, "ewwww!" Alan loved doing it just to get a rise out of you! HAHA You really do look awesome and your family is adorable. I'm impressed as always at your amazing cake-decorating skills. When are you going to open your bakery? Just a thought...
Happy birthday and happy anniversary my friend! Wow - I don't think your cakes are a lousy form of art - they are exceptional! When my mom saw you a few weeks ago she said the dessert you made for them was outstanding. I said, "Megan should be a pastry chef". She said, "Megan IS a pastry chef." :) because your dessert was THAT GOOD! Honestly, you are so talented. I wish I could take a wonderful bite through the screen.
I am glad you had a wonderful Birthday! I was going to call, but forgot. I did think of you though and remembered it was your birthday. I loved all of the pics! Super cute. I especially love the one with you and your boys. You look so good! Happy Anniversary to you and Tad too! See ya soon! We are getting excited to come.=)
Your cakes were beautiful too!
I would so love a copy of the pictures of Austin and Luke together hugging. Totally AWESOME! You and Tad really compliment each other and you are both so talented. Makes my heart smile to know my brother got such a great girl.
Darling pictures and I love the cakes. Happy late birthday. It was on my calendar and I did think of you but sometimes that's about as good as it gets around here. I didn't even call Guy on his birthday. I'm starting to lose it! Pregnancy brain or something like that. It looks like you had a great time and we're looking forward to seeing you all in just a few weeks. We booked a hotel room for Friday and Saturday night so we'll see ya then.
