This post is for all you expecting mothers or those of you who will someday expect.
Here's my advice: Paint your toe nails before you have the baby. Why...
Whey they curl you up in a ball to stick a huge needle into your back to numb you from the chest down you can look and see
Oh my toes are beautiful!
When they have you stand up for the first time after having the baby and you feel all of your stomach jiggle like jello
You can look down at your feet and say...
Oh my toes are lovely.
When you are taking care of your baby at 2 in the morning and he pees and poops all over your bed, him, and you (like a spraying action)
You can look down at your feet and laugh as you realize that your toes are still beautiful.
It maybe simple, but it is true. Don't go to the hospital until they are painted beautifully!

Are we related or what? I am not a gal that spoils herself with pedicures on a regular basis... but you better believe about a week before that baby is due I get my hair done and a pedicure. It's the little things right? :) You are a wise woman. Right before Dash was born I scheduled an appt for Carson and I to have pedicures together... his toes were painted green - it was awesome/hilarious. I know you were saying just paint them - but I say take it a step further. Schedule that pedicure! :)
I had mine painted for Elle's C-Section, but for all the rest they have said that I can't have any of my nails painted. They said they have to see your nail beds to see if they change color and also the oxygen monitor they put on your toe or your finger doesn't work if you have paint on. I'm going to ask again, because I do not feel pretty anywhere and would love to at least be pampered a bit before I go through this again.
That's great Megan! We are so happy for you and your family. Cole is absolutely adorable! Loved all the pictures, they are sooooo cute! And let me tell you, Jocie is a pretty proud Aunt!
YAY!!!! I love the family similarities. I did my own toes before Dre was born but this time I am getting a pedicure around the 28th of June. That way I am hoping to be sent into labor a little early and have beautiful toes!!! Every woman should do this!!!!
