So I know I have been MIA lately. I don't know if many bloggers feel like this, but I often wonder...does anyone look at this and why am I wasting my time on it? Then I go somewhere and someone who I wouldn't suspect to look (but I love them so I'm excited) says to me I love to read your blog.
Well we are ending the chapter of life in Idaho. The next chapter leads us to the Great State of Washington (at least we hope it is a great state). Tad and I have felt the Lords hand guiding us in the direction and we seem to keep questioning. Why...because we have loved our time here in Idaho. We have great friends, a beautiful house, a great ward family, great schools, we are the center point where we can play with my family lots. But at last we are to move. Now you get why I have been MIA, because we have been super crazy. Here are a few things we have been doing this summer while we pack our things.
T-BALL
I was the coach and Luke was so cute. Austin is still playing and I will get pictures of him soon. I love playing ball with my boys. I think we had a pretty good T-Ball season this year.
Rigby Rodeo
Did you know they pray before they start it. SWEET! They also had this 4 year old little girl riding around the arena that was a kick in the pants. We loved every minute of the event.
One Year Older
For my birthday this year I went to the zoo with my 3 little men. I loved it. Austin took this picture below for me.
I also bought myself an ice cream cake. They are spendy little cakes, but super deliciouso! See some of my birthday loot their...my Taddy spoils me with more cake decorating gadgets.
Wedding Cake
In the mist of all this chaos why not make a wedding cake?!? This was my cousin Mason's wedding cake. The doves were hand carved out of white modeling chocolate (that was fun!). The nest was sugar works. It was a simple cake, but I was satisfied with the results.
Tad took some pictures at the reception and I thought they were so cute:)
P.S. this boy has personality and boy are we loving it. Look at those curls. I'm totally smitten!
We have been to a family reunion, but forgot the camera. Then we had a most splendid day at Lagoon. My Lukey Bear was a riding rides fool! I loved it!
We are just waiting for our house to sell and then in a few weeks we are off on a new adventure! I'm tender and trying to keep it together. I'm sure grateful for the Spirit that guides us to where we need to be. We are confident that all will work out for the best...I love the hope the gospel brings.

I would love to end up in Washington one day, it's so pretty there!
Both Mason and Landon's cakes were amazing, Megan! Seriously, you are so talented.
I love Cole's curls, so glad he let me hold him at Landon's wedding (:
I think one of the reasons you might be moving is because the Lord wants more of His children to have the influence of awesome people like you and Tad. You have many, many gifts that bless other people's lives and I know He will continue to use you as an instrument along those lines.
We love being able to take a "peek" into your action-packed lives through your blog and I promise you that you won't ever regret taking the time to record the "daily-ness" of your comings and goings.
We will be anxious to hear where you end up and always enjoy seeing you and your cute boys (Tad included!) when you make it back to Nyssa. We'll be prayin' for ya!
Love you!
Shannon and I were just talking about you and Tad last night - about how impressed we are by the both of you! I love your example of following by faith even if it seems pretty crappy at the moment :). Those people in WA are going to be thrilled to have you in their lives!
Oh Megan I'm getting all teary eyed! I'm so excited for you guys! I know we'll keep in touch. In fact I'm going to to call you soon so we can do a bbq before you leave.
I didn't even recognize Cole. Those curls are so cute. Is the little girl Nick's? You will have fun no matter where you go. It's all in your attitude and you and Tad make everything great!
ahh. well first off you are very very talented with your cake skills!!
second..washington isn't too bad :) I'm still partial to idaho..especially the easter Idaho parts...:) Great thing is...now you can come see us Hartleys!
Maybe you can convince the Nyssa fam into a Hartley Family Reunion at Berniel's. lol
When are you moving?
I love your blogs Megan, so don't ever stop. Can't believe those sweet curls on Cole. I think there will be tears the day you cut them off. Postpone that day as long as possible. Just wish I lived closer and could help you guys with the move. If you can think of something I could do here in Klamath Falls, please let me know. We love you.
