Austin riding the school bus to school for the first time in the morning. I have a cute picture of Austin on the first day of school, but it wouldn't come off my regular camera. So this is the most we have for right now. Needless to say, Austin doesn't like taking pictures when he is nervous.  He is so cute though going to school. He likes his teacher, he is okay riding the bus, and he has made some good friends.

Tad and I were trying to figure out what to do for the three day weekend. Tad had to teach a lesson on Sunday so we had to be back by Sunday morning.  So we decided to make a jaunt to Seattle. It was my first time going to Seattle. Here we are eating dinner. The we stayed at a big dive hotel I got off of Priceline. I think this was the first time Tad has ever kind of got after me for being frugal. Okay maybe I got after myself a bit too. It was supposed to be a 2 1/2 star hotel, but man we were in the creepies and  it was interesting sleeping in a queen with Tad and Luke.  Austin slept in a chair and Cole cried quite a bit in his play pen.  We are sure into adventures right!?! That is what we kept saying to talk ourselves into this.

The first stop Saturday was to Pike's Pier to check out some attractions we had seen on some food shows.

They throw fish at this shop. It is quite entertaining and famous. We had so much fun checking them out. Especially the crawdad that was escaping.... it was funny.

We then went at ate lunch at the Red Mill Cafe. We had seen this store on 'Man vs. Food.' Umm an experience, but not worth the hype.  But we can officially say that we ate at a place that was on Man vs. Food. It is great to join the club:)

Next stop: Mariners vs. Angels at Safeco field.  This was my boy's first professional baseball game. They were tired, but we still had our magical moments.  I love to go to games. They are so romantic.

We are sure in love with these boys.  They are all at such fun stages of life.  I think I have fallen in love with them even more because I have lots of time here to devote to them. I'm grateful for that opportunity.

I have wanted to go to Pike's Pier for years. It looks like you had a great time together, excluding the creepy motel. You are an adorable family. Thanks for sharing.

Just think! After staying in a creepy motel, you must have been super excited to be back home. And, then you appreciated your home so much more. And the restaurant...maybe the regular cook wasn't on duty then. You've gotta give it one more try or chance until you make the final decision. Thanks for the great pictures. Austin looks so cute sitting at the bustop. I can't believe he's old enough.
