What a week! Whew we made it ...almost! We have to talk in church tomorrow and then it is off for vacation in Nyssa. I have been quite the "Baker" this week. I did a demonstration for the young women on Tuesday. We decorated three cakes. Sorry no pictures I forgot the camera...bummer! Here is Luke while we were taking a break outside the other day. We love going outside.
The boys were really good helpers this week. Luke got an ear infection so towards the end of the week he was a little worn, but still a trooper. He loves to help eat the powdered sugar yum!
Here is the cake and the sweet neighbor girl I made it for. She turned 10 and wanted a pink and brown cake. She came over and helped me make it. She is a pretty amazing gal.
Today I threw and baby shower for my friend. She is having a girl. I had made this quilt top but wanted to try machine quilting with my own machine. It actually was really fun. Then I tried out the triangle edges that was even more fun. I love projects...such a sickness (thanks mom)
For her baby shower I made this cake. I love babies bums and feet :) The filling was a strawberry butter cream with a layer of just strawberry jam...potent, but okay.
I don't like making super busy weeks a habit, but it was still fun. I had some amazing and supportive helpers and that makes is all so much more enjoyable. Therefore, if you are one of those helpers -Thank You-

Wow! You are one accomplished woman. I take my hat off to you! And, you make adorable little boys.
You are becoming quite the cake decorator. I am very impressed! What a good mom you are too.
I love the bum cake. You should have made a cake for Jed when he had his bum surgery. :) You have such patience cooking with your little guys...most of the time I have to send mine out of the kitchen because I feel overwhelmed...still working on that one. And last but now least - are you sure you should not be called "The Domestic Goddess" - except leave out "the Training" portion because I think you've already made it.
Cammy I only post the positive:) I still have much work to be done before I'm titled "Domestic Goddess"
Wow Megan! You are good!! I seriously am in love with both of those cakes! Super Duper cute! Luke is of course super duper cute too! Love the photos!
Thanks for such cute pictures. Those cakes are so cute and the quilt is great. You're a pretty talented lady. Tad, Luke and Austin are very lucky.
