Playing, Princes, and Party

Well summer weather has returned for a week so we enjoyed playing outside a lot last week. I love my children's creativity in playing.

Our neighbor was in a demolition derby this weekend. He invited all of the neighbor kids to go and paint his car. What fun is that!
Austin was invited to a Princess party for his good twin friends. They were all dressing up so they asked him to dress up as a prince. Tad made the crowns for the boys. This was the most we could get Austin dressed up.
Luke turned 2! He had a great birthday. He is such a wonderful boy and we love love love having him in our family.

Instead of a cake I thought I would try making cupcakes to see if he would eat it better. The result: he didn't even eat one bite. My boys are my children... they like making the cakes, but they would rather not eat them:)

Finally we had a wonderful surprise this weekend. My family swinged by for the evening. We thought that it was so much fun. I know it was a long swing, but we really enjoyed their visit! They brought Luke his birthday present, the wagon. Luke totally loves it and begs to push push!

I am glad Luke had a fun B-day! He's pretty darn lucky to have a mom like you to make him the cutest cupcakes ever. They turned out awesome!

Cute cupcakes Megan! Mia is requesting a Lego cake for her birthday on Saturday. I wish you lived closer so I could have you help me out (or do the whole thing ha ha). Have a good one.
