Our little man arrived on Friday March 4, 2011 at 12:47pm.
Weight: 7 lbs. 2 oz.
Height: 19.5"
Condition: Perfect!
I had had tons of contractions for a month or so. Come Thursday night they started to get a little more consistent. I couldn't sleep so I decided to call the doctor to get checked out. My luck the doctor wasn't open on Friday. So I called him and he said to go get checked out at the hospital. Thinking it was nothing I took the kids to the neighbors (thank you lovely neighbors) and headed to the hospital with nothing else. Tad met me their (which I was so glad about). They hooked me up and I started to have some pretty good contractions. At about 11:30 the doctor said we would have a baby in 45 minutes. Crazy!
Being awake for this C-section was really scary, but I survived.
It was quite exciting to meet our new little man! He is so beautiful (we are pretty biased). He has a super sweet demeanor, loves to eat, loves to sleep. Our boys can NOT get enough of him. Austin begs to hold him and says, "You can sleep mom and I will watch him." Luke loves to just look at him. We are so grateful to have had my Dad and two brothers come to visit for the weekend. We are even more grateful that they allowed my Mom to stay for the rest of the week.
Recovery is slow, but the rewards are so great. We are really loving our new little man!

For the TV they only remote was a single button on my bed (stinky). So Tad took matters into his own hands and brought a universal remote from home. He programed it for the TV and DVD player. It was awesome. I explained to each nurse and they all thought it was awesome too. Cute man.

You look great too, by the way, and I'm so glad your mom can be with you for a bit. Those bigger brothers are adorable too.

Congratulations, Baker Bunch! He's a keeper! I think he looks a lot like little Lukey Bear...do you? I tried calling your mom's phone yesterday to get details, but I'm sure she was busy either chasing the two older guys or cuddling the newest addition. Get some rest, Megan! Love to all!

Megan he is precious. I agree with your dad's message 100%. Probably one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen. And you look beautiful in the pictures as well. Way to put the pressure on for me in a couple months :).
I hope your recovery is glorious - Tad is a genius for his remote idea and it seems like you have some great little helpers. What a wonderful little mother you have to come right on over to help you out! We love you guys!

He is pretty stinkin cute. While your mom is there please take advantage and get a lot of rest and just SIT or SLEEP. That way your recovery will be faster and better. We love you and are so excited for the new addition.
