Okay so I know I'm tooting my own horn, but I just couldn't help but share the fun! To stay sane while Luke is recovering I worked on this project:

It really is a project because the flowers have to be made a few days ahead to dry. They were super fun to learn how to make. I tried a few more kinds of flowers, but liked these best for Markie's cake. Then I used my cake cricut to decorate the rest. That machine is awesome! I have found a great recipe for the material you need to make it and it works. Previously I have been frustrated with the machine because it just didn't work right. Got to love YouTube you can learn anything. Well all in all it was a fun project and most importantly it was for my darling Sister who I would do just about anything for.

Those flowers look so real, I can almost smell them! Amazing job, Meg! Hope your little guy is up and going in no time, too.
Wow! Those flowers are insane! You are so talented! Did you use the yummy marshmallow fondant? I swear I could eat that stuff all day! It's beautiful-happy birthday Markie!
TEACH ME!! I love how real it looks, you have to teach me next time your here.
That cake looks too good to eat. Great job, Megan
And i love it! It was the cutest cake ever!!! thank you so much
It looks great! I just started getting into lilies; did you put the petals on wire and wire them together? I tried to make one that I didn't have to wire together but I couldn't get the petals to dry in the right shape. Also, I would be interested in your recipe for the gum paste for the cricut cake...
