Pre-Christmas madness and a birthday in the mix.

As I'm getting ready for Christmas I have bone to pick with Santy Clause. What the heck...you get to give all of the cool presents that a wonderful Mrs. Helper picked out, but you get the credit. I have never been jealous until this year. Anyways, let the fun begin.

Luke decided that he is a gourmet and made this all by himself. He is my child:)

Ha I love the creativity. I wait for it daily.

Taddy Boy's older now. I didn't ask him to make this face...he did it all by himself. I think he had a great birthday. We got to go to Austin's school christmas program.

This has been my project for the month of December. Sometimes....my projects turn out how I envisioned and the recipient loves it. This is such time...YAHOO!  These are shirts and shorts that Tad brought home from him mission in Brazil. They have been waiting for me to do this project for 7 years, but I felt the creativity to do it this year. He was surprised and loves it. Which is saying a lot for it because Tad doesn't usually like the presents I give him. I thought for sure he would know we were doing something when he would come home from work and the boys would all be sporting orange Ninja bands of fabric around their heads.

Lesson learned... Do not name your child after someone, unless you don't want them to have qualities as the person.  Example, who's funny joke was it to put my face on this child while he loves R/C airplanes like his dad. What the heck! Pay attention to this picture. He is in his coat to go outside to fly with his dad with his airplane that he built and 'his' remote. All done solely by himself.

Finally, it is Christmas Eve and we are doing exactly what we want to do. Build creations and chill. We hope you have a chill Christmas too!

That's the coolest quilt. You're so creative, Megan. Just wish I could give those (also creative) boys a big squeeze. Merry Christmas to each of you.

You are my inspiration. By David's next birthday I will have started his military blanket. I have 9 months to pull the box off the shelf. That's a start right??? Merry Christmas. Love you.

What a cool blanket!! I had lots of hopes for homemade Christmas creations this year .... Christmas jammies for the kids, a Christmas table runner, a tree skirt ... yeah, none of them got done, again. Maybe next year!
