Christmas

Ahh what a wonderful Christmas and Christmas break we had. We stayed at home for Christmas day and enjoyed playing with our kids. Santa (he/she is amazing) brought the boys electric toothbrushes. They have wanted these for a while and are super. Just saying, as a hygienist mother, I'm super impressed. Fantastic for the kid who has primary and secondary teeth! Now I should be getting some thing for my advertising from Oral-B:)

Santa was super duper excited to give this boy this present. A life size stuffed Diego...seriously awesome!

These guns are super awesome. I don't know who likes to play with them more...mom and dad or the boys? They are like laser guns that change colors when your hit. They have entertained us for hours and were a 50% off clearance K-Mart special...whoot whoot! Now I'm just braggin'.

The much wanted Hero Factory. Austin: "Santa didn't bring me the right one, but this one is better than the one I wanted."  Yup...Santa scores again.

I love this candy-aholic! The boys had bright green poop for a week. Now we are on candy detox mode, pray for us.

Look at Cole's face. Ha! I think they had everything built by 12:00. Then we were like, hum what are we going to do now?

This year we had the boys pick out presents for each other. This ball is what Austin got Luke.

Cole got Austin the much wanted Ninjago (which is surprisingly a real thing. I just thought Austin had made up this name...nope real).  Say the name a few times, it's fun.

Luke got Cole a monster truck.

Tad spoiled me with some fun surprises.  This last summer we went to a stake service project and Tad lost my shovel.  I was need less to say...ticked!  So he sweetly got me a new one and engraved my name on the top. So if you see a shovel at a activity and it says my name...lay off. I'm possessive of my yard tools!

These were such a cool find. They are head lamps. You know you want one.

For the love! Check out his socks. The boys always still my fuzzy socks so I got them their own.

The PJ's in previous pictures are the cute ones my mom sent us to match everyone for christmas eve. The boys wanted some more thermals for christmas so when they opened those they switched.  I asked Austin if he wanted more thermals he said, "Yes, in gold please." Haha funny kid. I like these better than the color gold.

Cole sporting my new tennis shoes. Love them.

After Christmas we drove to Nyssa for a week of fun. We had a great time. I didn't take pictures very well. Here are a few from Sunday dinner with the grandparents. We did fun things like, went to the movies without kids, play at the Hansen's, watched Payton drive her parented nuts at my mom's house, sneaked Payton candy, went to Tucanos, went to the YMCA, went to church, watched too many movies at my moms house...maybe one in particular and then copied the a cappella part with a boy vs. girls challenge (no,  video will not ever be provided), played broom hockey at the church, exchanged presents, exchanged germs, Tad sprained his ankle, ate yummy food. You get point. We had a blast.

Their debating. This is what the Hartley's like to do while the in-laws detest it.

Notice my grandma basking in the debates. She just ate them up and my brothers and dad were happy to provide it.

Chilling at Mama Marie's.

Aunt Ashley is the favorite Aunt for Cole. We have invited her to come live with us...offer always open!

Umm I know every time we see this girl we post this, but we are super crazy about her! She is super duper full of life.

Umm this is not an announcement in any way, just my weird sister who honestly refuses to take a decent picture. Rich came to visit for the week with us. It was fun to get to know him better.

Opps caught her being cute. She should try that more often.

Finally, taking down some christmas stuff.
I love these boys. They are why my life is so entertaining and good!
