Connell Fall Festival Parade....impressive for this dinky little town. They are super old fashioned here with pretty girls on sparkly floats and everything. The candy was plenty and pretty good quality too!

Okay I know I'm making a weird face, but this seriously was my favorite part of the parade.  It was a mariachi band on the back of a float with men and boys lassoing.  They were impressive. It was so fun!  The hispanic people are really the only people I feel comfortable with around here anyways so thank you to a wonderful up bringing in Nyssa I feel somewhat at home here. Now if I could just get used to the strange white folks....

We tried a grease bomb for lunch. It was a $22 gut ache, but I got to squeeze on these men so life is great.

Lukey Bears Birthday

Luke watches cake shows with me and decided he wanted a huge airplane cake with cars, and monsters, and dragons, and lightening McQueen, with ocean and dirt etc.  He went on so long that I never gained a vision for what his cake should be. So we went with a simple monster.  Notice the darling cake plate. It doesn't go with the theme, but I was super excited to use it.  A sweet family in our ward that we were close with brought it over the night before we moved.  How thoughtful!

Oh my Taddy Boy is super amazing and make the boys balloon toys for birthday morning. I love that man!

For lunch we ate at a family in our wards. They were so kind. When they found out it was Luke's birthday they put candles in a cinnamon roll and spoiled him with more balloons.

Happy Birthday to our Luke. Life would be so quiet without you and that would be sad! I adore your fascination with bodily noises.  I love that you are snuggly. I love that you are such a hard worker and will get in and really help.  I love that you do dishes.  I love your gigantic head and all of the workings within.  We are super crazy about you.
